Outreach in Accra, Ghana

OVERVIEW

The Bear Valley Bible Institute Accra - Doboro continued its mission of equipping and empowering individuals for effective ministry and service within the community. The month of May was marked by significant outreach efforts, educational advancements, and completion of essential infrastructural projects. Notably, the Radio Preaching, House to House evangelism, and the completion of some plumbing and tilling works have all contributed to growth and service to the community.

THE TOP RADIO PREACHING

Throughout May, the institute engaged in a radio preaching initiative focused on the Biblical principle of Tithing. This initiative aimed to educate listeners on what the Bible really teaches on tithing thereby clearing doubts and misconception and instilling in them the spirit of giving in the Christian Age. Feedback from the community indicates a growing interest and understanding.

CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES

This month we continued to offer a robust of curriculum aimed at developing the theological understanding and practical skills of our learners. The following courses were taught:

Christian Evidence by John Acquah

This course provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the foundational evidences supporting the Christian faith, equipping them to defend the Gospel in an increasingly skeptical World.

Research And Writing George Osafo

This course focused on enhancing student’s research skills and writing abilities, essential tools for effective ministry and academic work.

The New Testament Worship By Eric Coffie

This course explored the principles of worship as outlined in the New Testament, guiding students in understanding the significance of worship in the life of a believer and its implication on the church.

HOUSE TO HOUSE EVANGELISM

The students and the staff reached out to families within the Botokura Community sharing the Gospel and inviting them to share the love of Christ. This effort resulted in one baptism, marking a significant milestone as we work towards establishing a congregation at the new campus.

RELOCATION OF THE DOBORO CAMPUS

Finally, the institute has taken a major step forward by moving from the Doboro campus to Botokura in the Greater Accra region, which is the permanent educational center. The following works were done in the month of May to make the facility a more conducive environment for both learning and worship as the facility is now fully operational:

Plumbing works have been completed which includes, fixing of hand wash basins, washroom accessories, and toilet seats

Tilling for all washroom floors, and two self-contained has been completed
