Students in Owerri Continue their Work
Calvary greetings to you in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We are grateful to God and the Bear Valley family for being found useful in this important service of equipping the saints for the work of our Lord. We are indeed grateful for your support to us in this ministry.
By God’s grace, we will continue to do our best to achieve the best, not minding the challenges along the way.
STUDENTS
Currently, our attendance is between 11 and 14 dedicated students; some dropped due to financial constraints because they travel a long distance to come to Owerri, while 3 of them dropped because of sickness.
Also, we are still experiencing insecurity in some areas, which also affects some students from such areas.
We earnestly request your prayers for God’s protection.
OUTREACH
We had an outreach in Mbaise, and we also had another one at the congregation we've been trying to revive at Umuago town.
Unfortunately, the traditional ruler who gave the church permission to build a meeting place has passed on, leaving the members in panic about whether the children will take the land or not.
Considering the success we had during the preachers workshop we had, we are planning to have another workshop to include church leaders sometime in May.
BAPTISM
Within this period, we had one baptism.
We want to sincerely thank you all for finding us useful, we assure you that we must keep the flag high, and your confidence in us will not be in vain while you pray for us.
May God continue to bless and keep you all as you work for Him.
Yours because of Christ,
Chinedu Akandu
Director
