First Graduation Celebrated in Taraba State, Nigeria
Dear brethren in Christ,
I am delighted to submit this report to you, filled with gratitude. I am deeply humbled by the profound impact the Lord is having through your efforts in our lives here in Taraba state, Nigeria. We recently celebrated our inaugural graduation on 24th January 2026, which was attended by brethren from all over Taraba state and neighboring states. Seven brothers graduated with diplomas in biblical studies, while a sister received a certificate of attendance in biblical studies, marking a historic milestone for our church in this region. Our classes for this quarter commenced in December last year, with David Ayuba instructing on Islamic religion and evangelism. In January and February this year, I taught the students about the origins of the Bible and the Acts of the Apostles, respectively. In terms of evangelism, we have four souls added to the church and enrolled 57 candidates in the World Bible School correspondence course. Our World Bible School office is open every Tuesday and Friday. Additionally, our students have established a new congregation in Garba-Chede area. We are thankful to report that we have received our budget for the year and have also received the digital library you sent to us through Timothy Iwe. Our school extension in the South is growing rapidly, with hostel accommodations and regular worship services on campus, which have attracted neighboring attendees. We express our sincere gratitude for your tireless commitment and sacrifices that have sustained our work. We eagerly anticipate your visit to Taraba school. We propose presenting a study Bible to each of our newly graduated students as a gift to aid them in their fieldwork and seek your approval on this matter. Please remember us in your prayers.
Yours in Him,
Madaki Itom Elkanah
(Local Director).
