Mombasa, Kenya school continues their studies

Dear brethren,

We hope that this report finds you well. We are all fine and doing well too, as well as the students. God has been faithful to us all. The quarter began well. Seven students reported  for this quarter.  This quarter began on January 6th, just a few days after New Year festivities.   The students reported with eagerness and fire in their eyes to learn more in this second academic year. The Lessons that've been taught so far are the Book of Matthew  taught by brother Paul  in the month of January and the Book of Mark taught by brother Daniel in the month of February. Francis is taking a final class for this quarter which is a preacher and his Work. We are glad to be on track with the lessons. We trust God to also guide us through all quarters this year, and that the zeal the students have in every lesson will continue as well. Next quarter will begin on 4th April, 2026

It is indeed a blessing to see eagerness to learn more in these students. Their efforts are encouraging instructors more and more. It is pleasant to see God's people happily studying His word. Those who did not not report cited work related schedules. We understood them, and so gave them relevant advice accordingly. They are willing to resume once everything is settled in their places of work. We let them know that it would be good to make sound arrangements with their employers so that they can have ample time to attend classes. This is a challenge that most of the students face - balancing their employers' schedule and that of the school.

Moreover, there has been personal evangelism going on. Each student has been doing evangelism that has led to one baptism.  More prospects are on their lists of evangelism. Currently we have eight prospects that are being followed up by the students as well as the instructors.  We hope to have more prospects so that God's Kingdom might expand.

We are trying to restore some liberal Churches here. We've had our first meeting with some of the preachers in these churches, and pray that all will be well. Even though some are objecting, we still believe that there will be a breakthrough eventually by God's grace. It requires a lot of effort to restore such churches on the part of the students as well as our part as teachers.

We also thank God for all who are praying for the work here. Without God and your prayers, it would be impossible to evangelize, and to restore and to baptize a single soul. Plans are underway to revisit newly established congregations, and to strengthen them through the Word of God. We're also engaging a few willing Muslims with the gospel with a lot of secrecy due to the risks involved in their lives.

Thanks to all brethren for all support in any form; both in prayers or in material that has enabled the school to move on. God bless you.
