Students receive all-around education in India

Report from Visakha Valley Bible College

By the grace of God and through your continued prayers, we are all doing well. The preaching school work continues steadily and productively.

Faculty Meeting

As we continue our two-year training program to prepare men to become evangelists, teamwork among the faculty remains one of our greatest strengths. For over 15 years, our united efforts have helped produce faithful and effective gospel preachers.

On the 10th of this month, we held a faculty meeting to carefully review the students’ academic progress and their completion of graduation requirements. With the graduation ceremony approaching, it was necessary to clearly inform the students of any incomplete assignments or outstanding requirements. We spent most of the day in discussion, evaluation, and clarification. We are thankful for the productive meeting and are confident that everything will conclude well.

The graduation ceremony is scheduled for April 10th.

Prior to that, in the third week of March, we will conduct our Evangelism Campaign. Participation in this campaign is a required part of the curriculum for each student. We are excited to see another batch of students nearing the completion of their two-year training program.

Trade Education – Tailoring Institute

We are deeply thankful for the establishment of the tailoring institute by our former director, Samuel Raju. This has become a tremendous blessing for our students.

All preaching students attend one hour of tailoring classes each day. This is not only a vocational skill but also a practical means of financial support for those who are committed to full-time preaching. The students have made remarkable progress in stitching garments and small items.

They have set a goal to stitch their own graduation uniforms to wear during the ceremony. We are very excited about this achievement.

Our vision is to prepare these men to be productive vessels for the Lord, ensuring they are not hindered in their ministry due to financial struggles. This practical skill will help them sustain themselves while preaching the gospel.

Gratitude and Prayer Requests

We are sincerely thankful to the brethren at Lake Houston, Strickland Church of Christ, and Farmersville for their continued prayers and encouragement. Our students are being shaped into productive vessels who will carry the gospel to millions of lost souls.

We especially thank Brothers Mark and Keith for their continued follow-up and interest in the progress of the school.

We pray that through our combined efforts, many souls will be brought to Christ. May the Lord bless you with wisdom and courage as you lead the church in fulfilling its divine purpose.

We humbly request your continued prayers for our health and strength as we carry out the responsibility of providing effective teaching and training.

With best regards from all our students, staff, and faculty,

May God bless you all.

in Christ,

John Dean Muppidi
