Staff meeting held in India
Dear Brethren in Christ, Greetings to you in the precious name of Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Faculty Meeting:
It was a wonderful and productive occasion to bring together the staff and faculty of Bikkavolu Bible College and Visakha Valley Bible College for our annual staff meeting. This gathering provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on our work, evaluate our progress, and prayerfully plan for the academic year ahead.
Each year, before the beginning of a new academic session, the faculty of Bikkavolu Bible College gathers for a full day of planning, prayer, and evaluation. This year, the meeting was held on our Bible College campus in Bikkavolu, and we were pleased to welcome faculty members from Visakha Valley Bible College to join us.
During this important meeting, we reviewed the previous academic year, discussed doctrinal matters, evaluated our curriculum, and prayerfully planned for the new school year. As we prepare to welcome students, we carefully considered the subjects to be taught, effective teaching methods, and practical ways to strengthen every aspect of our preacher-training programs.
Investing in Quality Biblical Education:
As part of our continued commitment to improving the quality of biblical education, we have decided to invest additional funds this year in providing quality study materials for every student in every subject. Our goal is to continually raise the standard of biblical instruction while remaining faithful to the Word of God.
We want our students not only to benefit from sound classroom teaching but also to have valuable resources that will continue to strengthen their biblical knowledge, preaching, and ministry long after they graduate. We believe that access to sound biblical literature is an essential part of preparing faithful and effective servants of God.
Our desire is to equip our students with the biblical knowledge, spiritual maturity, and practical ministry skills they need to preach the Gospel faithfully, teach God's Word accurately, and serve their congregations effectively. Through sound instruction, quality literature, and dedicated faculty, we are working to prepare the next generation of evangelists and Bible teachers for the Lord's service.
Quarter-End Examinations:
Examinations are an important part of the educational process. They help us evaluate how well students are learning, identify areas that need improvement, and measure their progress throughout the academic year.
We are pleased to see our students participating actively in their examinations. This process helps students understand their own progress, recognize what they have accomplished, and identify areas where they need to work harder. It also enables our teachers to evaluate how effectively the material is being taught and how well students are understanding and applying what they learn.
Our midterm and quarterly examinations have now been completed. Next week, our students will begin working on their thesis assignments, an important step in developing their ability to study Scripture carefully, conduct research, and communicate biblical truths effectively.
We would greatly appreciate your prayers for our students as they undertake this work. Please pray that they will remain diligent in their studies, grow steadily in their biblical knowledge, and develop into faithful and effective servants of the Lord.
Many Thanks to Our Supporting Churches:
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the congregations that continue to support our Bible schools and the mission of training faithful men and women for the Lord's service. The work of preparing evangelists and Bible teachers is an ongoing mission. When someone asks how long we intend to continue this work, our answer is simple: as long as there are people who need to hear the Gospel and souls who need to know the hope found in Christ Jesus, there will be a need to train faithful workers to share that message.
Our goal is to prepare men and women who can faithfully preach the Gospel, strengthen existing congregations, establish new churches, and reach their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We praise God for the opportunity to work together with congregations that share this vision and understand the importance of preparing the next generation of Christian leaders.
This is a great task, and it cannot be accomplished alone. It requires prayer, dedication, sacrifice, and the generous partnership of mission-minded Christians who recognize the eternal value of training faithful workers.
We are especially thankful to the churches at Killen, Lomax, Tuscumbia, and Atlas for their continued support, prayers, and encouragement. Your partnership is helping us continue this important work of biblical education and evangelism in India. We thank God for your mission-minded hearts and your willingness to stand with us in preparing men and women to serve Him faithfully. May the Lord bless each congregation and every individual who contributes to this work.
"Together, we are investing in the lives of faithful workers today so that the Gospel may reach many more souls tomorrow."
in Christ,
John Dean Muppidi
