 OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Congregational maturing: Situmbeko church of Christ: - In the first quarter of the year 2025, the Bear Valley Bible Institute Lusaka in conjunction with the Lusaka Central church of Christ continued spearheading outreach programs at Situmbeko church of Christ with a view of enhancing congregational growth numerically and spiritually. This congregation, was in the year 2024 following the crusade camp meeting we had together with the Gospel Chariot Mission from South Africa. The Bear Valley Bible Students were on top of the program in maturing this particular congregation during the quarter under discussion.

In addition, in June 2025, Situmbeko church of Christ was privileged to host a camp meeting of the Bear Valley students and the Gospel Chariot Mission team for three days. The students again played a tireless role of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in the area.

In view of the above, we recorded six (6) baptisms at Situmbeko church of Christ during the quarter under discussion.

Preaching at the Prisons: - In the same quarter under discussion, the Bear Valley Bible Institute students continued preaching to the inmates at the three Lusaka based correctional facilities. In June, one of our students was among the brethren that donated some groceries and second hand clothes to the inmates at the Mwembeshi Open Correctional Facility located in Lusaka West. One of our students (Micheal Sitwala) continued taking communion to the inmates every Sunday.

Door to door Evangelism: - In the quarter under review, the Kanyama West church of Christ and Chunga church of Christ, embarked on a door to door evangelism in the surrounding community of their church premises. Some of the Bear Valley students attend the congregations and are the ones leading the evangelism programs.
