SECOND QUARTER REPORT FROM APRIL – JUNE 2025
OPERATIONAL REPORT
INTRODUCTION
We extend grace and peace to you from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. This report covered the activities of Akim Oda School for the period of 1st April to 30th June, 2025. It also highlighted the subjects taught with the names of the instructors for the period under review, and we end with the Conclusion.
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
There were six (6) courses introduced in this second quarter and are ongoing. These included:
1. Research and Writing, was taught by brother Kandavi Kwame.
2. Christian Evidences, was taught by brother Guartey Joseph.
3. How we got the Bible, was taught by brother Akuoko James.
4. Cost of Discipleship, was taught by brother Atama Emmanuel Yao
5. Homiletic 1, was taught by brother Guartey Joseph.
6. Old Testament 2, was taught by brother Nti Samuel
This quarter’s classes were interrupted by funerals that came our way. Our class prefect lost his mother, and the instructors, as well as the students, were there to mourn with him. There were some instances where instructors and some students were engaged. During those periods students were given assignments to do and submit. The results for the five (5) courses mentioned above would be submitted in the 3rd quarter report.
PROVISION OF RESOURCES
All of us here at Akim Oda School express our sincere gratitude to Bear Valley for your support so far. God richly bless you.
DOOR TO DOOR EVANGELISM
Our students, with some instructor,s embarked on a door-to-door evangelism after church service on Sundays. As a result, some people have been baptized into those local churches.
PERSONAL EVANGELISM ACTIVITIES
As part of our evangelism activities, the school has written to remind the local churches in and around Akim Oda of the school’s readiness to support local churches in their bid to do Public Preaching and Personal Evangelism.
SCHOOL’S IMPACT ON OUR CONGREGATIONS
The students from Oda School continue to make an impact in the various local churches where they serve as leaders, teachers, and song leaders. Some of our students work with their congregations to organize dawn preaching in their communities. It is good to note that some of the activities of our students ended up in baptism. We believe this is due to the sound teaching our students receive from their instructors and this goes with the motto of the school: “Maintaining the Sound Doctrine”. The efforts of our students have been seen and felt in those congregations, urging them to work hard for the Lord. It is our fervent prayer that this continues.
STUDENT PROFILE
Brother Obeng Evans is the student we are focusing on for this second quarter. He is one of the most diligent students we have and we are glad to have him with us. He was baptized in the year 2000 and he is still in the church. He is also one of the leaders for the Akenkansu Church of Christ. He is happily married with children. This second quarter, brother Obeng was very active in evangelism and selflessly availed himself to help the congregation at Akenkansu during their door-to-door gospel campaigns. He is extremely happy he has joined the Bear Valley Bible Institute at Akim Oda. Although his town is far away from Akim Oda, he used to come to school with his motorbike.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the school has started well, and we pray for God’s protection and guidance to do more as a school. The teachers and students were regular in school except on a serious occasion beyond their control or ill-health.
