INTRODUCTION
Warm greetings to you all brothers and sisters in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The month of April was full of Godly activities. As we write this report, we give honor and glory to God who has given us this rare occasion to work in His Kingdom. Our labor for the Lord has reached in six provinces out of the ten provinces we have in Zambia. We are so impressed with our Alumni and current student body working together as we passed April, we begin with our Garden.
OUR GARDEN
Having a field lecture in agricultural field, our students were very excited they were taught agronomic practices in which they learned; good soil preparations and fertilizer placement. Other topics covered were soil analysis, transplanting practices, integrated pest management and disease control, also safe and effective use of pesticides.
With the knowledge above, growing vegetables like cabbage, tomatoes, okra, egg plants, spinach, and onion has become a reality. We thank God for brother Darren and His family, brother Donnie Estep for the role they have played in making this Garden a reality.
YOUTH MINISTRY SUPPORT
Before resuming the second quarter, our students had a 7 day recess which they used to do evangelism in our district. From the evangelism they did, many vital things were noted:
1. Many youths were attracted to their teaching We recorded a good number of youths asking for enrolment at our institute.
We also had a successful youth meeting which was held at the Institute by students on 17th April. We continue to give God the glory for such works
As a school we very happy to see our students teaching others the things they are being taught and would like to see such zeal for our Lord to continue.
APRIL EVANGELISTIC TRIP
We sent seven (7) of our current students to central province in Kabwe with two of our Alumni as their leaders, two came to Luanshya and worked with the four of our current students. And we also had four (4) Alumni in southern province who worked together in preaching the gospel.
Their work has been so marvelous and praise worthy, while it was the first time for our current student body to interact with our Alumni The trips yielded good results in three provinces and all our students have continued to make good records in their preaching.
BAPTSIMS
We have recorded seven (7) Baptisms on the copper belt province; twenty three (23) were recorded in central province and twenty eight (28) in southern province. Two were recorded in Luapula province; a total number of sixty one (61) baptisms were recorded in the month of April.
RESTORATIONS
We have recorded five (5) restorations from Northern Province through our Alumni Ishmael Kanyangala, eleven (11) on the copper belt, hundred and fourteen (114) in central province and sixty eight (68) in southern province. We have recorded a total number of one hundred and ninety eight (198) restorations
CONCLUSION
We are eternally grateful for the partnership that we have with you in the Lord and the financial support that we have continued to receive from Woodland Oaks Church of Christ. Our hearts are always thankful to you brethren for all the encouragements and all your prayers offered for this noble mission. We pray that God will bless the work that you all are involved in as well.
Brotherly,
Cephas and Fred
