School Campaign

The Bear Valley Bible Institute–Liberia extends beyond academic instruction; it embraces the responsibility to evangelize and nurture spiritual growth within communities. In line with this mission, we conducted a three-day Restoration Campaign in Wea Beadatuo from September 18–21, 2025, replacing the previously interrupted Church Planting program.

As a Bible Institute, one of our core responsibilities is to equip students not only with knowledge but also with practical evangelistic experience. Campaigns such as the one in Wea Beadatuo help students:

1.    Apply their theological training in real evangelistic settings

2.    Develop skills in discipleship, ministerial care, and community engagement

3.    Cultivate a heart for evangelistic and personal spiritual growth

These activities enable the Institute to produce graduates who are spiritually mature and practically prepared for ministry.

Benefits of this exercise to Students include:

1.    Hands-on Experience: Leading worship, preaching, counseling, and evangelizing under supervision

2.    Leadership Development: Strengthening teamwork, organizational skills, and strategic planning

3.    Character Formation: Cultivating patience, empathy, and perseverance while ministering to diverse populations

These experiences complement classroom learning and prepare students for future ministry opportunities.

Results of the Campaign

We give glory to God for the outcomes of this campaign, which bring honor and praise to His name:

1.    Seven baptisms, marking new beginnings in the lives of those precious souls

2.    Seventy-nine restorations, as individuals who had backslidden returned to active fellowship

3.    Strengthened community presence and credibility for the Institute

4.    Renewed relationships that enable continued discipleship and outreach

These results reflect the effectiveness of practical evangelistic initiatives and the value they add to the students’ spiritual and academic growth.

We extend our appreciation to our sponsors and staff, whose prayers, resources, and guidance made the event possible, our dedicated students, who served faithfully and represented the Institute well, and the community of Wea Beadatuo, for their receptivity and cooperation. Your support helped reinforce the importance of community-oriented evangelistic work in the Lord’s kingdom.

Short Course (Bible Geography)

As part of curriculum enrichment, the Institute successfully conducted a short course in Bible Geography, taught by Bro. Steven Ashcraft, West Africa Coordinator. The course deepened students’ understanding of the geographical context of biblical events.

The Course Highlighted The Following:

1.    Mapping major Old and New Testament locations

2.    Understanding the historical and cultural significance of biblical lands

3.    Connecting geographical insights with biblical narratives

Students expressed deep appreciation for the clarity and practical insights provided. The course significantly enhanced their understanding of Scripture and its contexts.

Evaluation of School Performance

During his recent visit, Bro. Steven Ashcraft took the opportunity to evaluate the school’s overall performance and familiarize himself with the students.

Bro. Ashcraft noted the level of engagement and dedication among students.

The teaching staff were encouraged to maintain a balanced curriculum, integrating academic rigor with spiritual formation.

Students’ research projects, presentations, and participation in class discussions reflected some level of growth and understanding.

He recommended Continued emphasis on interactive learning methods, expansion of short courses to cover additional practical skills.

This evaluation provides valuable feedback that will guide the school in improving its programs and student support services.

The school wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to Bro. Steven Ashcraft for taking time out of his busy schedule to spend quality time with the Liberian students.

His visit offered encouragement, mentorship, and inspiration to both students and staff.  The school acknowledges the personal commitment and effort it took for him to travel and dedicate time to Liberia, demonstrating a tangible investment in the development of future ministers and Evangelists.
