Greetings Fellow Servants,
Stephanie and I want to thank you all for making our life of service in Tanzania possible. We stand amazed at what God can do when we join hands and hearts to further along the saving message of God to the lost and dying of East Africa. Your friendship in the Gospel is yielding much fruit through the grace of God. This can be seen in the following comment from our good brother Christopher Mwakabanje:
“February evangelism went very well. A total of 53 Bible Studies were set up, 9 are faithfully attending our regular worship services. Among the 53 Bible studies, 39 are very active. It requires more human resources on follow up. We had one baptism so far. The attendance on Sundays has grown up to 19 people on the 3rd Sunday.”
Christopher's comments are in reference to the sixth church plant in the Arusha area. In 1998, when we first began this amazing mission effort, there was one congregation of less than 30 souls in Arusha. Today, there are 7 congregations in Arusha with more than 400 souls worshiping our God each week.
We have our first appointment this coming Wednesday night. We have but a few openings, so, if anyone would like to hear of the good being done by God, through the Tanzania mission team in East Africa, please give me a call: 601-310-6170 or email me: firstname.lastname@example.org for a possible appointment. We close with an amazing opportunity. We went out on faith and secured some much needed video equipment we needed for our translation team/work. Our fellow laborers at World Video Bible School made available to us over $20,000 worth of equipment for $10,000. We have been blessed with $3,500 in donations already. The future of the Lord’s work will be enhanced greatly by our ability to tape Bible material in both English and Ki-Swahili to be distributed and used throughout all East Africa and into the Congo. Can you help us help them help themselves? Thank you!
We pray your week of service in Him toward others is fruitful and a true joy to your life.
Cy, Stephanie & Granny
