In nearly 40 years at Bear Valley we have never seen anything like this.  There is so much uncertainty in the world, and there is uncertainty in the church as well.  Yet it is times like this when we rally together as God’s people and show the true depths of our faith.

We are making a very special appeal.  We’ve never done anything like this before because we haven’t needed to.  But these are unprecedented times!  We have students who planned on attending Bear Valley this fall.  Yet because of the nationwide stay-at-home orders, they have not been able to get out and talk to potential supporters.  In addition, some of the support they already had raised is disappearing because of people losing their jobs and congregations experiencing a decrease in contributions.  They have been left with what appears to be only one decision: to not attend Bear Valley.

Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.  We have those who are ready to be workers.  Of course, they need to be trained first.  They just need some help.  We’ve put together this campaign to alert our brethren of this urgent need.
