I hope this finds you and yours doing well. The time since the last report, for me, has been eventful and filled with emotion.
I was honored to have been asked to speak on the Bear Valley lectureship in late September. That is always a good time and I enjoyed being with so many brethren from many different places.
Shortly after returning home from the lectures, I left for Siem Reap, Cambodia. I was excited to return to Cambodia, as I had not been there since I was part of the original survey trip. What I found was very encouraging. Phanat Ouch is the Director and is doing a great job and I was blessed to teach The Godhead to 10 very eager students.
On November 2nd, I took my Dad to Tallahassee to watch his favorite team play, but as we neared the stadium, he apparently had a massive heart attack and I lost him right before my eyes. I’ve never experienced such a traumatic event nor suffered such a great loss. So many of you have been so supportive during this time of grief and words fail me to tell you how much you are appreciated.
On Sunday (Dec. 8) I leave to teach the Gospel of John at the Nepal Center for Biblical Studies. This will be my second time to visit this extension and I look forward to my time there. Please keep us in your prayers.
As we come to the close of another year, I am deeply grateful for your partnership in this outstanding ministry. Thank you for helping make it possible!
