Serving Fiji and the surrounding nations of the Pacific Ocean

On September 2, 2016, the Bible Institute at Raiwaqa opened its doors for the first class of a two year Bible certificate program.  Jason Pierce taught the first course on the book of Hebrews to a class of eight students.  Class was held in the building belonging to the Raiwaqa Church of Christ.

Since that time we have been able to secure our own facility.  In 2018, we had a class of 12 students with three coming to us from other countries outside of Fiji (two from the Solomon Islands, and one from Pohnpei). Also, we have just completed our first two year program and graduated our first class of 5 students on November 2, 2018.

Our program consists of 48 classes covering every book of the Bible and relevant subjects to train preachers, Bible teachers, and church leaders. Our school is officially recognized by the Fiji Higher Education Commission and our application for registration is pending.  Recognition gives us the legal right to operate in Fiji and apply for student visas for our students coming to us from other island nations.  Registration gives us the authority to confer a two year certificate level 6 qualification in Bible.

Our current staff consists of a director, Rocco Pierce, and an academic dean, Jason Pierce.  Both men serve as full time instructors in the program.  So far, we have also had short course teachers from Alabama, American Samoa, Colorado, Fiji, Indiana, Mississippi, New Zealand, Tennessee, and Texas. We have just hired an indigenous evangelist, Emosi Sailo, as an additional instructor for the program who will start teaching in February, 2019.
