Bear Valley Bible Institute - Doboro
Doboro (Accra), Ghana
The Bear Valley Bible Institute – Doboro Ghana (Also known as the Southern Institute of Biblical Studies) started in Doboro, about fourteen kilometers away from Accra, the capital of Ghana. This is the only school of preaching in the Eastern Region of this country. The schedule includes a two-year full time residential program and a four-year part-time non-residential program where the students will be awarded a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Bear Valley Bible Institute in the United States of America. We are also hosting Master’s Degree classes for Bear Valley in the area.
Included in the primary objectives of the school, is to prepare more dedicated men to preach the gospel and to serve in the Lord’s church as evangelists. Following an induction service on the 15th of February 2014, the school started classes on the 17th of February, 2014 with twelve mature Christian men who were already serving in different roles in the church. The first class included students from Dambai in the Volta-North, Poyamire-Bawku in the Upper East region, and others from the Eastern and Greater-Accra regions respectively. This school in southern Ghana will go a long way to help the spread of the gospel in this region.
Seth Osae-Larbi has taken on the role of director for the school, and is being assisted by well qualified preachers in the area for administrative and teaching duties. We are not only grateful to God for this new program, but also to our financial donors, and Bear Valley Bible Institute in the USA. Brother Steven Ashcraft has taken on the role of Bear Valley coordinator, and can be contacted with any questions, or for additional information.
Please continue keep this school and her primary focus of evangelization in your prayers.
