North India Bible College
The North India Bible College is located in Chandigarh, a city of 1 million people with a “Christian” population of less than 1%. Early mission efforts in India focused primarily in the south and were very successful. That led some to believe that the north needed more attention, including a preacher training school.
So, in 2005, several local men, as well as some Americans, began planning what is now known as North India Bible College. From this location, NIBC can train men for service northern India, as well as nearby countries. Since its inception, the school has trained more than 40 preachers for India in addition to its current enrollment. Earnest Gill serves as the director of the school.
In addition to their schooling, the studets are very active in evangelism in their communties. These men are preparing themselves to take the gospel to the 1 billion people of India.
